The service is in beta
Accounts are created by invitation. Features change, and some of them break. We do not promise uptime, and you should not put anything on Market4 that you cannot afford to republish yourself. If we discontinue the service we will give you notice and an export.
Your content is yours
You keep every right to the changelogs, posts, images and data you put in. We store and process them to run the service for you — publishing what you ask us to publish, sending what you ask us to send — and for nothing else. We do not use your content to train models.
Your account
Keep your password and your API keys to yourself. Anything done with your credentials is treated as done by you, so revoke a key the moment it might have leaked — you can do that from the panel without our help. Tell us if you think someone else is in your account.
What you must not do
- Publish anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to publish.
- Send bulk email to people who did not ask you for it.
- Connect accounts that are not yours, or use the service to reach a Google, Buffer or social account you are not authorised to act for.
- Work around the quotas, the budget limits or the approval gate — including by creating extra accounts to get more of them.
We can suspend an account that does these things. Where the damage is ongoing we may do it before contacting you.
Automation, approvals and money
Anything that publishes in your name or spends money waits for your approval by default, and the approval is a deliberate act by a signed-in person — an API key alone cannot grant it. You can turn auto-publish on per app; if you do, you own what goes out.
Image and video generation costs real money at the provider. Each app has a monthly budget and the service refuses to generate past it. Setting that budget higher is a decision to spend more.
Every organisation has a kill switch that stops all automation immediately. It is there for the day something goes wrong at three in the morning.
Services you connect
Google, Buffer, your SMTP provider and the media and search providers each have their own terms, and those still apply to you. We act on your instructions within the permissions you grant, and we are not responsible for what those services do, charge or change. If a provider suspends you, we cannot publish on your behalf.
Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider. Plan limits are enforced by the software, and the current prices are on the pricing page. During the beta, paid features may change.
Ending it
You can stop using Market4 at any time and ask us to delete your data — see the privacy page. We can end an account for a breach of these terms. Content already published to the outside world stays published; removing it there is between you and that service.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect damage, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We will announce material changes to these terms on the changelog before they take effect.
